Alexandria Verdampfer comparison chart (2025) (v9)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering which to pick, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Alexandria buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. In Alexandria, availability of the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
Search results for verdampfer in Alexandria are crowded, which is why this page focuses on what actually changes the experience. For diy mixers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Vaporesso Tarot earns its keep: the 2500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 50 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Vaporesso Tarot with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Alexandria, availability of the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
The build quality on Vaporesso Tarot is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 54 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Expect roughly 1534 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Kiwi Lime: tangy, green, described as tart kiwi balanced by lime. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
